What are Tiny Homes made from ?

All our tiny homes are fully fitted-out shipping containers. We purchase brand new (one trip) containers and repaint the outside to suit preference. They are then constructed to meet all habitable dwelling building codes. All our interior fit outs are completed to the same building Australian standards as most new modern homes using licensed builders and tradesmen.

How long does it take to Build ?

Pending design, it can range from 8-12 weeks.

Are they Insulated ?

YES, all of our homes are firstly spray foamed which obtains both an insulation component and a sealing component which stops containers from “sweating” and possible condensation issues. We also use insulation batts as an added extra layer achieving a minimum R3.0 on the ceiling and minimum 2.0 on the walls.

* NOTE: BEAWARE of other companies that do NOT use spray foam to seal the container first. HUGE red flag if not done this way

How are container homes installed ?

Depending on your location and local Council/ building requirements, options range from fully certified footings systems or can be as simple as using sleepers or concrete blocks, timber/ steel posts or fully engineered. A Building certifier may also need to be engaged.

What approvals are required ?

We recommend contacting your local council to discuss any specific requirements for your property or site.

Do you offer finance ?

No , but we recommend contacting your local broker or bank for options

Can our Container Homes be Off Grid?

Our homes can be custom built to suit off grid options or a combinations of both (power or sewer/water only for e.g.) We can definitely build to suit your needs

Where can you ship tiny homes to?

Our Tiny homes can be shipped anywhere in Australia relatively easily! Given our tiny homes are literally shipping containers, they are a common size for many logistics companies to deliver.
